the owner of medlyf, who's my brother (abortedlife) asked me to provide info on how i got the job as a company doctor here in dubai.
my e-mail reply to him was:
zup bro! to be able to work as a doctor in hospitals and clinics here, you have to have the so called ministry of health(MOH) license. for u to take the exam you have to have at least 2 years of private practice in your country and at least 2 years of UAE experience. for the meantime, to gain UAE experience, you can apply at companies here as a company doctor. to do so, resourcefulness is the key. look for vacancies thru ads or thru word of mouth. and then pass a very well written curricullum vitae(CV), aka resume', to every vacancy available. wait for their calls, pass their interview and tests, and whoalla! u got urself a job in the united arab emirates. and one thing, u should know computers particularly microsoft word and excel because they're part of the screening process. and lastly, you should have the balls to face all the challenges here or else you're f*cked! |
