You are doing your ER residency/rotation when a 38 y.o female walks in complaining of severe abdominal pain.
What do you want to know about the patient? |

btw, in case you don't know what I mean, ask for the patients history, vitals, meds etc. and I will fill it in and we will try to get to a diagnosis!

ummm if it's possible to gather the remaining pieces of the puzzle regarding her full history then i think she's on the safe side and will probably have to do a bit of maintenance on the hypertensive end. :) so, how did i do?

so the pain should then be localized, and we should try to pinpoint whatever probable hypothetical considerations we could gather then just try to get to the core of things by narrowing the case down to the bare essentials and just ditch other unrelated stuff like *this couldn't be this coz of this... then that couldn't be that, too*... 'til a much more accurate diagnosis is reached :)

indeedy :) and ummm since you're already a professional, doc, would it be righteous if the patient insists on belittling your directions by not following them? as in your case, her persistence on staying until she feels that you're really taking care of her?

What directions didn't she follow, I said she insisted to stay cuz the other option was you kicked her out of the hospital and she was found dead, and her family is suing you for not helping her ....
